The Petit was born in 2011, in the back of its parents' house in Canela, with a 20m² kitchen, a simple oven and an immense passion for pizza. Founded by Peterson Secco, the pizzeria began as a delivery service and quickly conquered the region's palates
.What started small grew with purpose, quality, and boldness.
Recognition and Expansion
The Petit grew and is now part of a solid group — the Peterson Secco Group (GPS) — which has more than a decade of experience in the sector, with 5 units operating in Rio Grande do Sul, scattered between The Petit, Fra Noi and Abbiamo flags, including pizzerias certified by the AVPN and its own rotation operations with long fermentation.

The Petit - Tradition that becomes experience.
Now, in 2025, The Petit is experiencing a new chapter: the inauguration of its new headquarters in Canela. A redesigned space, with sensory architecture, integrated environments and a mezzanine overlooking the main hall. Everything was designed to provide more than a meal: an experience.
Our lounge was designed to welcome everyone: families, friends, couples, event groups and those who seek to celebrate life until the wee hours of the night (we are the only pizzeria open until 6 in the morning!). We have kids space, ample parking and a democratic environment where residents and tourists feel at home.
The Petit became a regional reference not only for the quality of its pizzas, but also for creating something rare: a real lively pizzeria - operating until the wee hours, affectionate service, a loyal audience and multiple ways of serving: rotation, à la carte, by slices and delivery.
Here, you experience the rotation that only the locals know: quick service, an atmosphere of celebration and that secret that keeps everyone coming back. We are not “cat-tourists” — we are the pizzeria that the locals recommend with their eyes closed.
We are part of a group that values tradition and innovation: in addition to The Petit, we have Fra Noi (rotation) and Abbiamo (Neapolitan pizza), each with its own personality, but all with the same commitment to quality and experience.
